Applied Consultants believes that all work can be performed without people being injured or the environment being damaged. We believe with the proper training and mindset, Applied employees can and will establish a safe working environment. We have adopted the “Zero Tolerance” approach to drug and alcohol testing and feel there is no place for drugs or alcohol in the work place. We are an active member of the Drug & Alcohol Testing Compliance Service and actively participate in their random drug testing program.
We work closely with Vivid Learning System and utilize an online Safety program where we have access to over 80 safety modules that meet OSHA and Client requirements. Our in-house safety program includes required monthly online safety training through Vivid Learning System along with onsite safety meetings and site visits.
Our employees are required to complete safety topics each month through the Vivid Online Safety Training Program. This allows us to document and monitor all safety training completed by our employees.
The goal of Applied’s Health and Safety Training is to train employees on issues that may prevent or eliminate incidents from occurring.
As part of our continuous effort to provide our employees with the best training tool, Applied is pleased to announce the launch of our new Safety and Training Platform.
NCCER offers both assessments and craft training. Although both may lead to NCCER's industry-recognized credentials, they are not the same. Assessments evaluate the competence level of experienced workers, by documenting knowledge and verifying skills.
NCCER offers a complete series of entry- and journey-level written assessments as part of its National Craft Assessment and Certification Program (NCACP). These assessments evaluate the knowledge of an individual in a specific craft area and provide a prescription for upgrade training when needed. All assessments are based upon the NCCER Curriculum and have been developed in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts from the industry and Prov™, NCCER’s test development partner.
NCCER also offers management assessments for experienced foremen and supervisors and a series of academic tests for secondary career and technical education, which assist states in implementing statewide accountability systems.
