Brief Project Review


Lucid Energy

Lucid’s gas gathering systems serve the nation’s top oil and gas producers in the Permian Basin. Applied Consultants has supplied Project Management and Inspection to Lucid Energy since 2013. Applied Consultants assisted Lucid Energy in constructing over 800 miles of pipeline in the Midland Basin and numerous compressor stations. These pipeline projects have consisted of pipe ranging from 4” to 24” in diameter. Applied has also assisted Lucid Energy in 3 cryogenic gas processing plants 2 of them being 200 million cubic feet per day and 1 – 60 million cubic feet per day plants.

Most recently Applied Consultants has supplied Project Management and Inspection to Lucid Energy in the Delaware Basin. Lucid Energy moved into the Delaware Basin in September of 2016. There we have assisted Lucid Energy in Constructing over 200 miles of pipeline, numerous compressor stations and 2 – 200 million cubic feet per day Cryogenic plants. Applied Consultants have formed a partnership that we value. Applied Consultants has provided Lucid Energy with key personal ranging from Construction Managers to security guards.


Pioneer Natural Resources – Eagle Ford Shale

With Applied’s assistance, EFS Midstream was able to develop their position in the Eagle Ford trend almost 6-8 months ahead of any of their competitors. 6 large central gas processing facilities were engineered, constructed and brought online within 12 months. Each of these facilities consisted of 150 gpm amine plants, glycol dehydration units and 5,000 bpd condensate stabilization units.

Custody transfer services were also provided at these facilities for both gas and condensate. 500 miles of 8”, 12” and 16” pipelines have been laid with numerous bores, including bores under the San Antonio River and Interstate 37.


Pioneer Natural Resources – Permian Basin

Applied is currently assisting Permian Asset Team (PAT) with the construction of pipelines, well pads, facilities comprised of salt water disposal systems, tank batteries, compression, gas lift systems, metering and flow lines.

Currently staffing Inspection for Pioneer’s Water Management Team installing one of the largest frac water systems in North America. The system entails the installation of 36”-24”-16”-12” pipelines, pump stations, and frac ponds. Assisting Pioneer Operations Staffing Pumpers, SWD Alarm Techs and Administrative Assistants.


Enlink

Currently assisting Enlink in their STACK play in northern Oklahoma which consists of 500+ miles of gathering and 2 cryogenic gas processing plants.

Applied assisted Enlink with extensive inspection staffing needs in a short turn around to ensure there was no down time or lost time on any projects.

Additional gathering lines, trunk lines, compressor stations and gas processing facilities are currently under construction.

With Applied’s ability to respond and meet the inspection needs, Enlink has been able to establish their dominance in the STACK ahead of schedule and under budget.


Tall Oak

Applied Consultants began its partnership with Tall Oak Midstream in 2014, providing management and inspection services while assisting with projects located in the Woodford Basin. Applied Consultants has assisted Tall Oak in their STACK play in northern Oklahoma and southeast Oklahoma which consists of more than 700+ miles of gathering, 9 compressor stations and 3 cryogenic gas processing plants.
Applied assists Tall Oak with extensive inspection staffing needs in a short turn around to ensure there is no down time or lost time on any projects.

Additional gathering lines, trunk lines, compressor stations and gas processing facilities are currently under construction. With Applied’s ability to respond and meet the inspection needs, Tall Oak has been able to establish their dominance in the STACK ahead of schedule and under budget.

Tall Oak: STACK System
Applied Consultants assisted Tall Oak on the STACK System that Enlink purchased in 2015.

Tall Oak II: Midcon System
Applied Consultants is currently assisting Tall Oak II on the Midcon System that spans six Oklahoma counties.
- 180 miles of gathering pipelines
- 200 MMscf/d RSV cryogenic processing train
- 2 compressor stations and 2 more under construction

Tall Oak III: East STACK System
Applied Consultants is currently assisting Tall Oak III on the East STACK System that will cover southeast Oklahoma
- Current plans to construct more than 50 miles of 12” and 20” pipeline
- 2 compressor facilities
- Current plans to construct a cryogenic facility to its East STACK system


Williams Pipeline

Barnett, DJ Basin, Haynesville, Eagle Ford, Permian Basin, Utica and Marcellus Shales:

Applied has provided inspection to Chesapeake Energy, Access Midstream and now Williams Pipeline since 2005.
Applied Consultants has become a preferred vendor of Williams and has helped build gathering systems, plants, compressor station, meters, etc.
At our peak with Williams we have had over 180 inspectors working throughout the United States. 


Momentum Midstream

Applied Consultants began its partnership with Momentum Midstream in 2007, providing management and inspection services while assisting with projects specifically located throughout the Haynesville shale. In 2010, Momentum successfully completed construction of their Haynesville assets and sold to Enterprise products. Upon deciding to focus their efforts on growing a footprint in the Marcellus and Utica shales, they brought Applied with them as their sole provider for inspection needs. Over the next six years Momentum continued to build a reputation for constructing large scale assets while upholding some of the highest standards of quality our industry has come to know.

Momentum Midstream has developed and acquired 2,000 miles of pipeline, 12 processing facilities, three NGL fractionaction facilties, over 1 Billion barrels of storage and 100,000 horsepower of compression. 

M2 Assets – Fairplay Gathering and State Line System located in the Haynesville shale.

• Harrison hub – fractionation, condensate stabilzation, storage and rail/truck terminal capable of transporting 135 railcars a day
• 160,500 Bpd of C2+ fractionation capacity

Energy Transfer

Applied Consultants has successfully completed and have begun new projects for Energy Transfer in the Marcellus/Upper Devonian Shale and Permian Basin.

Marcellus/Upper Devonian Shale Project 
Applied Consultants provided key personnel during the construction of the Revolution System Project. The Revolution System Project includes
110 miles of 20”, 24” & 30” gathering pipelines, cryogenic processing plant with de-ethanizer, natural gas residue pipeline with direct connect to Rover pipeline, purity ethane pipeline to Mariner East system, C3 pipeline and storage to Mariner East system, fractionation facility located at the Marcus Hook Facility. Estimated in service date is Q4 of 2017.

Permian Basin Projects
Applied Consultants has played key roles in the construction of 3 major Energy Transfer projects in the Permian Basin. These projects include the Trans Pecos, Comanche Trail and the Red Bluff Pipeline. The Trans Pecos and Comanche Trail Pipelines collectively included 337 miles of 42” natural gas pipelines with 2.5 Bcf/d capacity in the Permian. The Trans-Pecos and Comanche Trail Pipelines were put in service Q1 of 2017. Red Bluff Pipeline includes 80 miles of pipeline with a capacity of 1.4 bdc/d. The pipeline will connect the Orla Plant to the Waha Plant to provide residue takeaway. The Red Bluff Pipeline will be completed Q2 of 2018.
